This anime convention and rave takes place on October 24, 2025 at Transplants Brewing Co. in Palmdale, California, and we’re offering exclusive media badges for qualified press and content creators.

• Apply Early: Submit your request at least 4 weeks before NeoTokyoCon in Palmdale.
   
• Provide Credentials: Share links to your YouTube, TikTok, podcast, blog, or publication.
   
• Respect Attendees: Always ask before photographing or recording cosplayers or guests.
   
• Be Professional: Conduct interviews and coverage respectfully in vendor areas, panels, and shows.
   
• Follow Event Rules: All cosplay, vendor hall, and anime rave policies apply to media as well.
   
• Credit NeoTokyoCon: Use official hashtags and tag @NeoTokyoCon when posting coverage.
   
• Check In On-Site: Pick up your press badge at the Transplants Brewing Co. registration desk with a valid photo ID.
   

• Do not harass or pressure guests, vendors, or attendees.
   
• Do not enter staff-only or backstage areas without authorization.
   
• Do not block hallways, exits, or vendor tables with gear or tripods.
   
• Do not livestream panels, concerts, or the anime rave without approval.
   
• Do not sell or repurpose coverage commercially beyond journalistic use.
   

Applicants must meet at least two of the following requirements:

1. Active Content: Uploads or published work within the last 3 months.
    
2. Audience Reach: At least 500 - 1000 combined followers (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, etc.) or 500 + monthly blog/podcast readers.
    
3. Coverage History: Prior event, anime convention, or cosplay coverage examples.
    
4. Press Affiliation: Proof of assignment from a publication or editor.
    
5. Community Impact: Demonstrated engagement in anime, gaming, cosplay, or fan culture communities.

• No Unauthorized Access — Media passes do not grant backstage or staff-only entry unless arranged.
   
• No Blocking Traffic — Don’t set up tripods, gear, or interviews in hallways or exits.
   
• No Commercial Sales — Coverage is for journalism and promotion only, not reselling content.
   
• No Unapproved Live Streams — Must be cleared by staff before streaming panels, performances, or the rave.
   

To be approved for a NeoTokyoCon Media Badge, applicants must meet at least two of the following:

1. Active Media Presence — Blog, podcast, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, or publication with active content in the last 3 months.
    
2. Audience Reach — Minimum following:
    
   • Social media: 2,000+ followers/subscribers combined.
      
   • Blogs/Podcasts: 1,000+ monthly readers/listeners.
     (Exceptions may be made for niche coverage relevant to anime, gaming, or cosplay communities.)

2. Press Affiliation — Assignment letter or email from an editor/publication.
    
3. Community Impact — Local or fan-based coverage that directly engages with anime/cosplay communities.
